Slewing bearings
Slewing bearings (rotary joints) transfer motion between stationary and moving parts so machines and plants can rotate smoothly under load. ALCiDES offers a wide range of ball and roller slewing bearings for construction machinery, wind energy, plant engineering, robotics, medical technology, and more. Custom designs are available to match your diameter, load, and mounting requirements.
Product types
Single-row ball slewing bearings
Four-point contact bearings with internal, external, or non-toothed designs. Standard diameters from about 120 mm to 6,300 mm; lightweight flange series also available. Typical uses: excavators, deep drilling machines, welding construction, and plant engineering.
Double-row ball slewing bearings
Built for heavy loads with high static capacity and tolerance of connecting-structure deviations. Well suited to wind turbines, cranes, construction machinery, and plant engineering. Standard range typically from 500 mm to 4,500 mm.
Cross-roller slewing bearings
Single-row 45° roller raceways with uniform rotational resistance and high dynamic life. Ideal where stiffness and accuracy matter: robots, antennas, medical technology, machine tools, and packaging machines.
Three-row roller slewing bearings
Highest dynamic load capacity and rigidity for compact, high-load applications. Diameters up to 6,300 mm (segment designs even larger). Used in deep drilling, cranes, steelworks, offshore, and port equipment.
Combination bearings
Two-row ball and roller combinations for very high axial loads and large diameters. Applications include construction machinery, mining equipment, wind turbines, and ship loaders.
Custom-made components
Rolling elements, rings, seals, and related components can be manufactured to your drawings and material specifications for small and large series.
